At the moment, there is a clear shot for #1. Tidus is mastering lower type of styles, such as S10, H4, and RT2A.
Yuush is at his level, and since his skills are better, he can push Tidus around sometimes. But from my observation, he is just above him.
Myself? I would need to fight Yuush and Tidus in official matches soon to see where I am at. Kinda hard to do when I hate fighting in the winter.
I plan on fighting Yuush in a 2 out of three in Xat styles, which would be nice.
At the moment, I am training with Prettz and barely slower than him. His abilities are improving in Xat styles and he is coming back to his S15 regular speeds again of 3 seconds average.
At the moment, my average S15 is 4-5 seconds, a good burst being 3. And when I am saying 4-5 seconds, I am saying in MEDIUM detail, not my usual Doyalism.
The repetition of the style is allowing me to increase my speeds ten-fold. And at the moment, I am really out of shape to take on Prettz, and I don't think anyone else could defeat him in the state he is in at the moment beyond myself.
Because I know how the man fights, and eventually I will come back and defeat him again. I just need time, so, my hat goes off to Yuush being the best fighter in most categories.
Tidus being number 2, and myself being number three, even without the official match-up.
Decimus - Mikalo - Yatoshime are my picks for number four. They are not fast enough to defeat us constantly, but they are way above the average fighter at the moment, in skill and speed.

And despite the fact I've beaten Tidus and Decimus, and even Prettz back when he was -still- fighting regularly, at the top of his game (right before I 5-0'd MG for the RT2A title, a fight you can find on this forum [and something Lance has -never- done]) Lance still goes on without even mentioning me.
This is why no one likes you, Lance. Everything you say is biased and one-sided. You think no one can beat Prettz but you, the problem with that is that -you- can't beat Prettz.

Lysander, as MG has said himself, single victories over someone wouldn't make you necessarily better than them. If you and Prettz were to fight 10 times, you'd lose more than you'd win. If you and MG would've fought 10 times, you'd lose more than you'd win. With those two guys active, there's just no way you could've been #1.
As for your win over MG, I read the fight (the logs are all fucked up, wtf kind of chat was that?) and I have to agree with both of you. You were right in saying that MG couldn't range that way, but in MG's defense, that has never been formally incorporated into the rules and if he says he thought it was legal, I'm pretty sure he was being honest. There are other things you two were arguing about, but that's spilled milk. So, I'd have to rule it a no contest dude. Besides, what kind of fighter wants a win that isn't absolute? If you were better than him, he would not have hit you 5 consecutive times when you resumed (wtf would you resume if you thought you already won? js) and you would have gladly rematched him again and won 5-0 easily. Also, you mention this phony victory with MG everytime I see you in chat as if it's the greatest accomplishment of your life. You don't see me going around saying I beat Prettz everyday. Relax, dude.
Another thing that gets me with you is you talk about other guys being "Doyalists" but as I watched your fight with Nick Gunn the other day you're pretty cheap too. Your posts didn't make that much sense and you didn't use logic. You didn't even react to being hit. I think you're a good fighter (despite me saying otherwise when I was heated) but you're no where near as good as you think.
Another thing you did that was cheap as fuck was send two attacks in the same post and claim you could connect either one. I have never heard of that in my life. Fakes, yeah, but not two authentic attacks in the same post. However, I'm not sure that's written in the rules that you can't do that, so I had to accept it (you did void it and I commend you for that), just like you have to accept what MG did. I will modify the rules.
Lastly, I agree with you on Lance. He is biased at times. I've been the best fighter in the world for a while now and he's just now saying it. He gives Yata all these props, when Yata is only fast when he types the same connection over and over. Lance actually can beat Prettz, according to what they've both said. Apparently, Lance's prime was greater than Prettz's. If he was more consistent, then he'd probably be #5 all time.

I told you when I did that it was a legitimate mistake and that I was fucking with you when I told you it was valid, Yuush. We didn't count the hit, and I said outright I was -joking- with you about it.
I told you and Nick both before we had the fight that I -did- not care about T2, and that I -was not- going to try in the fight. I said that exactly. If I'd ever honestly cared about T2, I'd have been the champ before that day when I got it by default; you and I both know that, Yuush.
I don't think I'm very good at all, though. I know I'm good. I know I'm one of the best active fighters, and have been for a very long time now. Longer than you've been coming back off and on for, at that. That's okay though, because as long as Lance is around, as long as MG, Kael, Shane Walker, and you're around; I'll never get half the credit I deserve for being as good as I am.
And that's fine. But just because you guys will never stop riding your own dicks long enough to recognize there's people out there that are actually smarter fighters, with better writing skills that play the game 10x better than most of you (and I'm not saying I do that better than all of you, though I'm fairly sure that I could write circles around everyone I just named any day of the week, drunk, stoned, asleep, or sober), then no one but you select group of 'elites' will get the credit for anything.
And that's fine. It really doesn't bother me. The only reason I'm being so salty and cranky right now, in this post, is because I've been awake for almost 48 hours and won't be getting any sleep tonight either if my bosses have their way.

This is one of the most true statements in our league. This goes for everyone, including me. My victories against Prettz were unofficial, and he doesn't like to hold back against me often.
At the moment, I can hit Prettz and dodge him 50% of the time, but no more than that. It is an even 50% in offensive attacks and defensive, you can't just run at him and attack, he will outmaneuver and time you easily in lower styles.
At the moment, Prettz is still in his prime, easily, and I am rather slugging along. Right now, I am trying to get back into shape and take you all.
The only reason I rank higher than the majority of you is my longetivity, I have been near the top for almost 5 years, beating the best or/and barely losing against the best.
Consistency has been my Achilles' heel for many years, but I have remained one of the best fighters in the league for almost 4 years since I moved to Realchat.
In Realchat, my first major win was against Cade Cross, and then for the next three years the only people I could not defeat was Ukyo, MG, and Prettz.
Everyone else was pretty easy, but my consistency in speed was absolutely horrible. One day I could beat Tala 5-0, the next I could barely lose 3-5 against him in S15.
My record in Xat is probably easily 100-1 record in blades/melee combat, my only loses being Tidus, Obito, and Haseo_S in official fights. But the majority of my fights were wins against Obito and Haseo_S, and since I am out of shape, Tidus has taken more wins against me, the only fighter in 2 years to do so.
