I like how I'm not on this list at all, even though I've beaten Lance numerous times during his assumed reign as "top dog", I've beaten Kael, I've beaten Ukyo, Rias/Alex, I've even fought and beaten Squall in my time.
WHY AM I NOT SHOWN ANY LOVE, MG? FUCK YOU TOO, OKAY. FUCK YOU.

I'd have to see proof or else it's just hearsay. You probably did beat Kael, but I doubt you beat him when he was actually the best fighter around. I don't know about you beating Ukyo, I'd have to see that too. Understand that to be the best fighter in the world, you have to beat the best fighter in the world. If you beat them when they're no longer the best, then you can't become the best by beating them.
Since they haven't objected, I guess it's safe to say you did beat both Rias and Squall. Were either of them the #1 guy when this happened?

Mostly because I can't remember most of what happened way back when. It's a blur to me. Age and alcohol do that to the mind, kids.

A strategy is only good to you if it is not revealed. In this case, it does not matter, however, because it has already been anticipated - and intercepted, before you even had time to reveal your plans. Everyone thinks the old guys are washed up, and most of them are, but some of them were ahead of the game by decades - and still are.

It's like hearing an echo of myself, only instead of T2, I practice T1 - But why is it I'm hearing this echo?

Do you know what a legend is? A legend is somebody whose story is remembered long after it was first told. It doesn't have to be based entirely on facts, either. You don't become a legend just by skill alone. There is no such thing as a self-proclaimed legend. A legend is based, not on your ability, but on your character and contributions to RP history. Rias is a legend because he is remembered by the RP community, not just as a fighter, but as the founder of Advanced Auto (AA), one of the first early chat room speed fighting styles. He is also known for his modesty and sincerety. That is why he is a legend.
When I became an egomaniac, I started meeting others who were on the same trend. Together, we created a monster that has almost destroyed our history, our traditions and our culture. There are no more legends, there is only this chaos that I helped to create. We have taken a fun, enjoyable pasttime which really had no meaning, and turned it into a science based on propaganda. That is one of my biggest regrets.
Fortunately, I have learned from it.

In other words, it's not about how many fights you were in, or how many fights you've won. Rather, it's about how others view you as a fighter, and how many efforts you have made to improve the quality and structure of RP fighting.

Let me put some closure on this, because I have a feeling people will take all this the wrong way. Just because you invented a new name for RP fighting, that does not make RP fighting any different. I don't know how many people practice RH2, MT1, or whatever else today, but when Rias invented AA, hundreds of fighters practiced it, including myself. I actually heard about AA before I even met Rias, to give you a better idea of what I'm talking about. It was the same with T2, which is a lasting style that is practiced even to this day, and its name hasn't even changed since it first became popular. T2 is a legend. Juntai is a legend.
All that other hocus pocus... it's bogus.

Quickhand claims to have beaten me at my own style, which is funny, because I never had a style. I did coin the term "free-based"/"JKD" textual combat, but it was not a style. It was a philosophy, a handbook for higher level RP fighters. Quickhand wouldn't have even understood it back in the day, yet he still claims to have beaten me in it today, which leads me to believe he still doesn't understand it, even now.
The only style I can really say that I helped to create was the ART style that someone tried to ripoff, but even that style I never created by myself - It was really a conglomeration of ideas from all different people, like an experiment. But even then, ART is not a knockoff of other styles, like MT2, or T2A, or BT2, etc. etc. ART is a totally unique style unlike any other style that has ever existed before in RP history.

I should of been declared #1 at one point. Just throwing that out there. During the time I was considerably competitively active, there were few able to contend with me at the time. Except for Lance, Cloud, and Prettz. Prettz wasn't necessarily apart of the competition at the time. But I defended my titles against Lance ( not that this matters anymore ) and against Cloud. I'd fought Stalker, Arch, Brian, Aoharu Takeda ( aka RHH/Red Hooded Hero.) Black Luster Kaiba, Tala, and many more. It would of made more sense to give me some shine if it were like six years ago, and the populace of fighters were bigger. But I made due with what I had to work with.
Anyway, just like anybody, I just want a little bit of recognition, at least for what -I- did and put SO much work into.

That would be Violet, a pretty good fighter. I can't comment on her being #1, it must've been before I returned. Now that I think about it, it is definitely time to add my name to this list, father.

I beat Prettz a few months back in S20, I'm only 10% certain he let me win too.
Since when the fight was over his first question was: "HOLY FUCK WHEN DID YOU GET FAST?"
Which was kind of complimentary and kind of insulting at the same time, honestly.
