Darth: Stealing everybody's thunder since October 2007.
Unless of course WE'RE THE SAME PERSON. In which case, the question stands: can I (I? You? We? Are we a collective intellect?) steal my own thunder? Or am I just doubling up on thunder?

I'd say we're just a Hive-Mindian sentience, like the Buggers from Orson Scott Card's Ender series.
In which case, I think we could steal one another's thunder, and at the same time only be doubling the thunder of the collective whole.

I too would like to be part of this awesome Wes-hating orgy.

I don't even hate the guy. He just acts like a cunt, so I treat him like one.

I haven't looked at anything regarding RP or fighting for 6-7 years, but a quick search for my name showed me that one Wesley Wymer (and his thousand different aliases) had been busy mentioning me. I'm glad you guys went through the trouble of keeping a lot of this active, albeit with a lot of revisionist history, but I figured I'd clear this post up by saying that almost everything that Wes posts is going to be false. He does it because he's bored and likes fucking with you.
By the way, nice omission of my name from your all time lists. At least you got one right (Circ).

Can you not read? You got the biggest write up of all. Sit down.

I didn't get a chance to read everything until a few minutes ago. It's cool to take a stroll down memory lane with this stuff sometimes. I would have never remembered fighting your friend in Chars or fighting you those two times if I didn't just read about it. When it comes to speed fighting, I was fighting at an extremely high level during the Chars/Eden/Comicity/Metawerx days, but when I started fighting TB almost exclusively, I lost a step and lost interest in it. There's a reason why I pushed you out of your comfort zone those two times; I would have lost in standard T2 at that point. It takes a lot more than just pure typing speed, which I never had a problem with. That's why I always regarded you as the standard bearer. You were fast, but your ability was just as impressive. Much respect.
As far as TB goes, I appreciate the kind words and I can't say I disagree. Just like speed was yours, TB was mine. It was like that for both of us for a long time. Reading all this stuff, especially from Wes, is pretty entertaining. Maybe one day I'll take the time to set the record straight on Comicity and the Ž.

The more I read of this stuff, the more amusing it gets. "You cheated and the refs were in your pocket" seems to be the only way to attempt to discredit a decade of absolute dominance so I applaud those of you who went that route. Someone is going to have to explain to me who "Lysander" is, though---I have absolutely no idea. I'm going to guess I've beaten you before and you weren't happy about it, though. I'll have to ask around.
Wes, at some point you'll come around and read this so I figured I'd respond to you directly. You were always fascinated by my stories of the Ž and instead of forging your own path, you've attached your wagon to mine and have told lie after lie about your importance for about 15 years now. Yes, Kenshiro was the original Shin Gouki Z. Yes, I started off in Comicity and the associated Homestead chats surrounding it. No, I did not destroy Comicity---just every fighter that was present during my time there. Yes, I did take over the name Shin Gouki Z. I was better, I had beaten him, and that name deserved to see greatness, not mediocrity. No, I was not taught by "Ken Kyo", nor do I recall anyone named Andy being around during that time. You idolized the mystique of the Ž, but you had, and still don't have, any idea just how unimportant they were. In the month or two that I originally spent in Comicity, without actually fighting and just watching, I became better than everyone of them by the time I went to Multicity and met you. If you remember, I came looking for Keiyin Mitshura-ken and that's what led me to the Castle of Dragons. What's most amusing about that is that Keiyin wasn't a challenge whatsoever, but Silver Aeon (Josh) was exactly what I was looking for. He alone was better than your vaunted "Ž Senshi".
As far as your recollection of the Shinjou Brothers, you played a character that was a brother to my own. You weren't my equal, you weren't important, and I've beaten you more times in more different styles than I can ever care to recall. If you want clarification of that, ask Chris/Paul/Lily. Especially Lily---I know you remember us fighting each other when she left you and I broke you in half. I've been gone for a long time, but you've been busy for the past 6-7 years spewing this nonsense, pretending to be "D" or "Dexter", lying to absolutely everyone, and just generally making a fool of yourself. It's time for that to stop.

Wesley "retired" in 2012. I'm not sure anyone has seen the guy since. He also never did a very good job of convincing people that he knew what the fuck he was talking about, since he regularly got laughed out of threads or outright banned from communities. That's why he quit posting here; people just tore him to shreds nearly every time he posted. Chances are, guy'll never read any of this because it's been four years and he's either given up on roleplay in all forms, or he's found some niche pocket of the internet where he's accepted. He definitely hasn't been around here, unless he's just guest-lurking.

Just when you think Wes is gone, he'll resurface as either himself or someone else who talks about Bruce Lee, the "Z Senshi", rap, and late 90's/early 2000's RP fighting.

That's why I put retire in quotation marks. He "quit" this site several times, only to show up under new names. I haven't seen hide nor hair of the guy since 2012 when he stopped posting here. He hasn't popped up in any of the other communities I occasionally interact with, either. I'm sure he'll stumble back in eventually. Most people do; roleplay seems to have that intermittent, once-in-a-blue-moon sort of appeal where people drift in and out over the years. Last I heard, he stumbled off to another proboards site called Solyn, but I'm not sure the place even exists anymore.

It exists, but it's dead just like everything else. When did the GT League get taken down?

I remember quite vividly our fight in Blackfyre. Hiro and I were roaming around as Christian and Kenji Archaea at the time. I believe he discovered and fought you first. Afterwards, he came back and told me about some other-wordly fighter. So I went there, and I remember everything was in character. The interface was unique... whatever happened to it? Anyways, I finally found you (under the name Seiryou Shinjou) and you were training if I'm not mistaken. I interrupted your session and requested a spar. We discussed rules, decided on 20+ (which was unheard of at the time -- at least where I was from), and I remember losing 5-2. Just the description and effortlessness of your attacks was incredible. I hadn't seen a fighter like you, up until that point. Mind you, this is when nobody could beat me. I was in awe. So like I always did when I lost, I went into training. The thing about it was that nobody could beat me outside of you, so growth was difficult. I recall fighting people and their reactions, "There's no way you are this fast", and I'd just tell them, "There's someone out there who's much faster than I." No one ever believed me. We finally ran into each other again, about a year or so later and we rematched in the same style. You bested me again. Unheard of. This led to the formation of Masters T2, btw. Although we came up in different communities, I see a lot of similarities in our careers. You were at the pinnacle of TB -- as I was at the pinnacle of speed -- for a very long time. In that regard, I doubt either of us will be surpassed. We were also both into DBZ-themed characters. Do you remember when I reached out to you about forming a duo? The best of speed and the best of TB. That would've been epic. We've both created legacies establishing ourselves as two of the very best fighters ever, albeit in two different worlds. You had a legion of loyal followers -- I remember them well. Victor Kuroji, Stryker Epsilon, among others. I recall you fighting them both at once (I believe it was them -- maybe others but you definitely did 2 vs. 1 frequently). These people would follow you wherever you went. They believed in you, respected you as the best. I've had the same thing throughout my career. Ultimately, there aren't many people who have the willpower and skill to reach and remain at the absolute pinnacle of something as competitive as fighting for year after year. That is where I think we are most alike. Respect.

As far as what had happened, when you run smaller sites it's not easy to keep the activity up so I kept switching the genre/theme with different boards. As it pertains to our similarities, I don't know you well enough to elaborate, but I would agree that we're ultra-competitive and seem to care enough about our craft to continue to be on top for this long. My question to you is when did this all kind of die off? I haven't been around since late 2009.

I'm not sure, you can check the dates on the fights here to see when things started to wane. Probably 2012-2013. I didn't keep up with the GT League. I didn't even know Eric's site went down. Bummer.
