There has been a lot of awesome work being done on this forums at the moment. My hats off to MG for getting this restarted and the fun is commencing almost as I speak. But I have just a few suggestions to consider.
Now for championship matches in particular, I think it should be lowered to three posts in ten seconds. Me and Prettz did the math and it is nearly impossible unless you are posting 1 post every 2 seconds, which is impossible for most people. That means the WPM is nearly 220 mathematically. I don't know if this was intended or not.
Another thing is something called logical dodging. If I move to the left of my opponent while he is sending a straight jab, did I move out of his way without intending to? This has never been stated in the rules, so I don't know if it is there or not.
My last suggestion is that at the beginning of next year, are we going to put down the titles of each fighter? I don't know if this is going to be a month wide tournament. Then again, this really isn't a tournament persay.

As a separate suggestion, I think the points system should be reworked. The way it is right now makes it extremely easy to exploit.
I suggest each fighter that wins a fight should gain 10% the other fighter's points (naturally the latter is the loser and will lose 10% of his points). If this method is to be taken up, though, all new fighters should probably start with either 100 or 1000 points. Essentially, it'd be similar to (if not the same as) the GT system.
Also Lance, on "logical dodging", that's probably only applied in fights where both fighters state that logic is applicable beforehand. Otherwise, since logic isn't widely respected in most speed fights, it shouldn't be a problem dodging with whatever you have or do as long as you state that you dodged or blocked your enemy somehow.

I like the 10% idea but that means we have to go back and rework every fight.

I think it'd be better to do it early on, but it'd be good to get the input of everyone else before undergoing such a change.

The 10 percent idea is cool but the second I see a string of complex decimals, someone is getting dick punched then an arrow to the knee.

I wouldn't count decimals. Either truncating or rounding'em up would suffice. :V
BUT I THINK THIS SUGGESTION WAS POLITELY IGNORED.

Lance - It was intended to be difficult. The person would have to post 35 words in 10 seconds. Considering the fact that most fighters can connect in T2 between 2-3 seconds, I don't think it's that much of a problem. WPM needed is only 210.
Logic should be used in all fights.
Dirge - Your suggestion was not ignored. I think it's a good idea. Consider it implemented.

I kind of wanted to hear the opinion of the rest of the speed fighters on the site, since it'd affect their scores directly.
