Juntai, you seem to be well accomplished. I bet you were a formidable fighter. You should come back, maybe you can give me some competition.
Don't be silly. I'm a decade removed from the game, and 13 years removed from my prime period. I haven't speed typed in ages, as even by the time 2002-2003 rolled around, my fingers would lock up and my forearms would catch on fire if I kept up my speed for any real amount of time. I passed my torch back then to Somber Dalmuros and Shaitan.
Just to put this into perspective, if I take a typing test today, and do all the caps, punctuation, etc, I only probably do about 92-98 WPM now with zero errors, and my hands and forearms hate me for it afterwards.
Where-as in 99-2000, taking the same test, I would have scored between 125-130, with a few errors.
That's a 35wpm drop at max speed.
To farther show this, my max speed now, is probably what my average conversation speed would be back then without trying to type fast. Today my conversation speed is probably closer to 65-70wpm.
However, this is all just general speed, a paragraph with punctuations, complicated lines and stuff.
If I cut all that, and just mashed T2 lines back in 2000, I had maybe a dozen different attack/connect combos that would reel off around 310wpm.[figuring the fact that the many were hinged on words that roll off the fingers, as I had calculated which words can come off the fingers faster than others even despite being longer or the same letter-count and often short lettered words -- all of which I explained in another post.]
Today I'd be lucky to get half of that, and I could only maintain it for a few minutes.
My mark in history is set already. I was the best fighter of an era[in both T1 and T2], and I was a creator of rules, styles, and realms, Which is highlighted by the fact you have sets of my rules posted over your site from realms I created/co-created.
However, my fighting era came to an end when those I trained took over, and eventually down to you guys who still pursue it and keep it alive.
The only people I would even consider T2ing or T1ing with today would probably be those same people.
So no offense to you for turning this down, and not to entirely sell myself short -- I could probably still beat a lot of people if I really wanted to because I understand the speed-fight itself better than almost anyone -- but you're better served fighting someone of a current generation than I.
