Mr. Karashimu may not have been a great fighter, but he was a spiritual leader and guider for the community after the fall of Xiled Legacy, Chars31 and Chat-Avenue.
Eiji Karashimu proceeded over a very fractured Chars31 and Underground population that really never recovered from the golden times. The exodus from Yahoo!, Chars31, any many other places left many without a home and he filled it, but the damage had already been done to free form role playing, and the stagnation of new members for T2 sealed in its downfall.
The role playing community before Eiji Karashimu and Justin Gunshin shifted away from free form role playing chats to forums, as they were safer, less prone to DDOS, harder to troll, and furthermore, less likely to go down after a long period of time.
Eiji Karashimu's hands off approach alongside Chars31's moderator ( Who's name I forgot ) really did help foster a true, freeform RP experience that you can rarely get anymore outside of truly chaotic environments like RPC ( Which, sadly, do not allow for T2 ).
His contribution is overlooked in the grand scheme of things, but he personally invested his time and committed great deal of his resources keeping us from going without a chat before Realchat, and helped T2 slow its deterioration and shredding of members after the fall of Chat-Avenue and elsewhere.
Thank you all for reading, you will be missed.
