I found this place while digging around google. Looking for any pieces of old ayenee that were archived. So that should tell you how I came upon it. It was actually difficult to find, considering only one thing a first jumped out at me, which was j33fs name. One of the only names I even recognize here. Mostly I knew him through chat, he offered me to join his RP forums after the valucre debacle. I did not. At the same time though, I left valucre, and all of RP for better things. I no longer have the time, motivation, or true passion to pursue it as my favorite art. However. I'm glad there is a site dedicated to showing off a bit of the history of RP/RP fighting.
If you're curious who I am, I am one of the creators of t-1 and t-2. I am one of the founding members of No-Shinto. I was the official guardian of ayenee, appointed by Varsinax himself, when it was actually an active community. I am the second person to hold the title of D-1 of the D-10. Which was the system used to recognize the top 10 fighters of all time in chat/rp, over the realms at the time. Out of the original creators, I'm one of two that thought the system could be used to tell a greater narrative over all. I'm one of the few who were completely against the creation of t-2. I saw it as a flawed system, and still do to this day, along with all the other miscreant breed versions (spin-offs) of it that people have invented.
I'm honestly surprised my name didn't get a mention, or that of the Tanshihana/Ultima clan, or Samsakis. I guess it was a different time. A much different time.
If I can, I would like to contribute to the site by sharing any history I can, over the realms I was invested in. I noticed there isn't as much info about old ayenee, or the original eden, or many of the spin-off/splinter realms. If I can, I'll try to fill in some of that history for the people that care. Many of the splinter realms also didn't always have true site representation. Some not lasting a year, and only truly making their presence known in chat at the time. Which is why many people fail to site them as history, or if they even existed at all. Also I find it interesting how all of you know about t-1 and t-2. Yet none of you actually know about the people that created it as a medium, or why they did it. A handful of you might be an exclusion here. If you were one of the few people that actually existed during the golden age arc of chat, and actually had an opportunity to talk with the people that still hung around at the time.
I did not come here to list all my fights, and everything I have won. I have won more fights, and tournaments then I can legit remember. Only a few from climbing the D-10 even come to mind as anything really memorable and interesting. I'm as far past that, as the memories of the people that even presided over the events of the past themselves. I no longer fight, and do not care to. I am plenty happy as the champion of a day and age that was a shining beacon for text based RP. Honestly I'm surprised text based RP still continues to crawl forwards, with so many other mediums available. As usual though, being able to express imagination and creativity in text, will often times trump many things for those willing to read, and immerse themselves.
