There are wayyy too many speed-based chatroom fighting styles, for one. Most of them either don't exist any more, or never existed to begin with. A lot of them are just older styles with newer names, edited by those who wished to make themselves important by stealing other people's contributions.
Let's see.
Chatpit supposedly created AAA, an allegedly old style following the 5-5-5 ruleset according to Ukyo. But I'm inclined to say that this style isn't as old as Ukyo would have you believe. First, what does AAA mean? We know that Rias invented AA some time around 1999 or 2000, so AAA can't be any older than that, I don't think. Also, there already existed a speed-based chatroom fighting style in 1999 with the 5-5-5 ruleset in Multicity known simply as the "Codex" system. So it's unlikely that Chatpit developed this ruleset. If anything, they probably borrowed it from somewhere and then renamed it.
T2A and T4 are the same exact style originating from around the same time period, though I'm inclined to believe that T2A came first from Eden's Era, with the renamed T4 springing up shortly afterwards in Yahoo and Multicity. This style of course was inspired by T2, invented in part by Dalmuros. So why then did Ukyo, Quickhand and DSG rename the style RT2A and then claim credit for it as their own? Just wondering. Then on top of that MG comes up with a slight variation of this same style and calls it Ninjamatsu.
T5 was the original name of a speed-fighting chatroom style having a 20-25-20 ruleset. T5 was being used as far back as 1999 or 2000 on Yahoo and Multicity. Because of its name and trademark "T" style reference, I'm inclined to believe this style had origins somewhere at Eden's Era at one point, most likely inspired once again by Dalmuro's T2 ruleset. So why has this same style been renamed MT2 by Quickhand and Nonpariel, and why did Ukyo give them credit for making it?
Then comes the issue of the trademark "S" styles. One person says the S stands for "Straight" styles which originated from Myspace, while another person says the S stands for "Speed" styles from Yahoo. Honestly, I don't know the answer to this one, but I'm inclined to agree with the latter's statement as opposed to Ukyo's statement, since Yahoo figures prominently in RPG circles as the birthplace of many speed-based styles. This is merely an opinion.
However, if you look closely at the rulesets for all these different "S" styles (s10, s15, s20, s25) you quickly notice the similarities we've seen before to styles like T2A, T4 and T5, knowing quite well that the "T" styles predate the "S" styles by many years. In fact, the "S" styles are a rather modern development as evidenced by the fact that Violet created PSS20, obviously in reference to the earlier "S" styles that had been recently created. Again, these are just different versions of T2 with the same exact ruleset. Nothing has changed, the only difference I see between any of them is the word count.
But wait a second, didn't someone say before that Violet (the girl) and Vile (the guy) are really the same man? And isn't MG the same person as Quickhand? And isn't Ukyo the same person as DSG? And recently someone's been impersonating Flik, doesn't Nonpareil have a history of impersonating other roleplayers? And in light of all of this, Violet suddenly resigns from the world of textual combat, while Darth and Lysander try their damndest to cover up the conspiracy.
And what exactly has this whole thing accomplished?
Nothing.
Not a damn thing.
The only thing he's done (or they've done, assuming they're all different people and not just the same guy using different names) is create pure chaos and confusion. None of this has accomplished anything. None of this is real, everything is entirely madeup. They (or he) then fights amongst themselves (or himself), developing false fighting records which have absolutely no meaning or relevence to anyone but them (or him, assuming there's only one guy doing this) for the purposes of this website, the History of RP, where most if not all of them are mods and staff members.
Please clean the mess.
Make things right again.
