So for some reason today I decided to stop by Refuge, and there was some lame Arenis group. Being the trouble starter that I am, I started talking shit to them. I ended up fighting some guy named Decayden or some shit, and 6-0ed him in a RT2A death match. Poor schmuck. Somehow the conversation shifted to Ukyo, and I stated that Ukyo was better than eveyone in the room. Then the guy responded by saying MG is better than Ukyo. Then another guy said Prettz is better than MG.
I joke around a lot, and I talk a lot of shit, but I truly am a student of the game. I try to stay in my lane when it comes to the top five guys because they should be respected. I think it's disrespectful of the other top five fighters for people to always be comparing MG to Prettz. Nobody hardly ever talks about Kael and Atreyu, and it seems like people are only talking about Ukyo because he's active right now.
Either way, the people who say shit like this DKSAF (dont know shit about fighting). First off, every single one of these cats that say things like this were not around to see Kael to be able to say whether Prettz was faster or not. They are basing their statements off of assumptions, they're speculating. I was there to see him. I can't say whether Prettz is faster than Kael though. All I know is that Kael could connect in Rt2A in 2 seconds. If Prettz is doing that in one second, then yeah he's faster. Otherwise, how the hell can you say he's faster? People get carried away because he's relevant now.
Then the guy said when Mg came back he couldn't keep up with Prettz speed. So that means Prettz is the all time greater fighter? What the fuck? I look at MG coming back like Jordan coming back and playing for the Wizards. The guy just didn't have it anymore and I don't know wtf he was still fighting. He wasn't in his prime tho. That's like me saying that I'm greater than Prettz all time b/c I beat him, or that I'm greater than Ukyo because I beat him. Both of those guys are way better than I am.
To compare fighters head to head, you have to take them both in their respective primes. Their primes were at different times, so all we can do is assume. I think head to head, excluding accomplishments, the best guy would be between MG, Kael, and Prettz. Whoever is faster between Kael and Prettz would eliminate the other, leaving them to face MG. The reason I say this is because these new school cats don't understand the mastermind MG was back in the day. Prettz being faster does not mean he would win, since Kael was faster also. There are plenty, plenty of ways to beat guys that are faster than you. MG is the most creative speed fighter I have ever come across. It would be MG's creativity versus Prettz's speed, and that's only if he's actually faster than Kael, and you have to take into account that MG could handle faster guys.
In a nutshell, what I am saying is that we don't know who would win in a mythical prime for prime match up. In my honest opinion, a prime MG was the perfect fighter, blending one second connections with creative attacks, whether fighting in close or from a distance. However, Prettz style is virtually perfect also because he's just so damn fast. Taking my bias out of it, it's a toss up, we don't know who would win. It's like uh... Tyson vs. Ali. All we can do is speculate.
