Two battles took place that faithful night.
For a year now I had been underneath Prettz's tutalage and have burned out my entire brain trying to master his style. I had learned there was only two places in his entire format of fighting he was able to be hit.
1. Was after his attempt.
2. In between his attempt and hit in higher styles.
My hands burned that day, but I had finally felt that I could beat him, if I got it right. I trained my mind, my body for this day, the day I defeated Prettz, not only once, but twice in his best speed and brilliance.
At this time I was able to defeat Tala 5-0 as a dragon, totally destroying his feinting style by hitting him between his attempt and connection posts ( Kids, I was that fucking fast ).
So I knew it was now or never to fight Prettz, before my prime fell from me.
I challenged him, a two out of three, the first style being T2, and the second being S15, the third being somewhere in the middle of those two.
I fought him in T2, and after about 5-10 minutes of fighting, I had gotten to 5-4, but this was a death-match, no pulling punches.
I stumbled.
For a split second there, my heart sank, I thought I was going to lose the match.
We start our finishers at the same time, he finishes his prep before me, I finish my attempt before him and then ..
I finish him.
For once in my life, I thought I had climbed a mountain and placed a flag at the top of it. I defeated Prettz at his best shape and speeds, finally ..
The second match was S15, and I was obliterated, I couldn't stand against him, so I bide my time, blocking him and faking him out, I think I lost 3-6.
The third round, the one that counts, we both choose RT2A and start immediately.
A hit here, and a hit there, we are both climbing up the latter, refusing to give each other time to react in a proper fashion.
I typo out on the 4th strike, he comes back and hits me a fourth time, I dodge, move out of the way and out of range.
He falls for the bait, rushes into my range, I throw an attempt as soon as he nears me.
I strike him, it is 4-5, he hits me because I panic.
He starts to throw a finisher at me, I counter, thank god.
I move up, start my finisher, try to calm down because my hands are shaking.
I slam both of my palms together in Edward Elric fashion, runes scatter, and I blast him straight to hell.
The only man ever to beat Prettz in a two out of three.
