1: You can't break a spine with one prep
2: I moved in your range, was there, and hit you multiple times over and over
3: You lost the match, done with it.
Actually wait
4: Even if you are correct you didn't reach 5 ever, where do you get five from 2-0 then one prep projectile
Not accepting anything but 5-2 my win,

Even with two preps you cant go from 2-0 to 5, so I don't know what you are on. Plus you do 2-0 and leave the match for an entire half hour. Then later come back and start posting nonsense. I mean gtfo. You left at 2-0, we came back started 2-0 again, OOR. No other rules that was it, we started again at 2-0 oor. I came in and stomped you, then you create fairytales. Classic MG, no wonder you didn't want to wait for the ref You can't automatically start controlling air without doing anything - Thus making your entire nonsense void, But thats doesnt even matter. Because I ranged you and beat the fuck out of you the entire time you were playing around with air to begin with And also, you agreed t othe rules I had placed before the match No logic just means I can do things that normally would be impossible, like hitting you to the sky more than once. Once I move to your range in T2 baisc no logic, I am there. I can hit you, I am in range. You dont have the rules for T2 even listed on your site in the proper manner and are still backing them up over a discussion with LRW, plus this was entirely different altogether, because we set the rules on the site before the match. Following the rules we set I won 5-2 Easily, and always. Besides, really? Using rules that I wouldnt even know about in a match, that dont even exist in certain places. I won by basic T2 rules, period. 5-2? Can't accept, then take the win on your site, whatever. Thats what you have done your entire life really, make a false career out of bullshit wins that dont really exist, so might as well keep on going.

Actually also, according to Prettz's post, the official ref, I still won You did not in fact "locate" it on the link he specified. It was not in the rules officially at all

Stein raises a valid point. The rules, as they are currently posted, do not reference anything about 'barriers' (of which the disappearance may be considered a type). You may interpret 'disappearance' as part of the 'magic' category, but the 'magic category' only addresses offensive maneuvers, not defensive ones. Disappearance was a defensive maneuver. Again, here is the quote from the rule list regarding magic:
All energy beams or magic requires 2 preps and they count as 2 hits. If countered and sent back at the creator, the 2 hits still apply.
I, personally, would interpret 'disappearance' as a 'barrier' since barriers require two preps, and require two preps to break. In this case, the disappearance is defensive. To 'break' it, Stein would have had to write two preps that related to locating your presence.
I am surprised no listing of barriers occurs in the rules. You may want to add rules pertaining to barriers before utilizing them in a fight. If I had to make a ruling based on this decision, I would have to rule in Stein's favor.
I want to add that I am not the ref for this fight since I was not present during the second part of the match. Had I been present, we could have discussed the rules and made a decision then, perhaps continuing the fight.
This is just my opinion as a judge looking back on the fight, not as a ref actively engaged in it.
Next time you guys need a ref who observes the entire fight as it occurs. That way, when an issue is raised, it may be dealt with at the time of occurrence.

Exactly, not to mention your first prep was absolutely nothing but you touching yourself and had nothing to do with invisibility to begin with.
Plus you left for 30 minutes, came back. Refused to bring in another ref because by now Prettz had left, and you said oor go.
So that being said, I ranged you and beat you.

In Cloud's defense, despite he's a miserable asshole who hasn't actually beaten me in -my- style. There isn't a single guide set that lists the function of barriers. As Prettz already relayed, magic has only been listed by its offensive mechanics.
If this technique is in fact categorized as magic, and two preps is all that is required, then MG achieved that. But there is no real ruling on this at all.
And Cloud, your incessant mindless drivel about the terms of agreement in tech-two involving no logic is just a pile of horse crap. If it were in fact to involve NO LOGIC, you'd be eliminating actual functions from the style of tech-two. Such as the need for range, or for example the ability to perform magic now.
This cloud-2 style has but maximized your winning potential to what end? To substantiate the success rate of your baboonish attack methods?
Anyway, we already know the extent of your talent for being this year's most chimpanzee'ish fighter.
Techniques outside of strict melee have always been an iffy and a touchy subject for players among speed. Since nobody really took the time to play with a guide and turn the magic section into something eventfully informative. Thusly leaving the hole we have today in the nonexistent defensive rulings for magic.
MG will either win based on being privileged to classify his technique as a magical artform rather than just a barrier (though there is no listing for them anyhow.) Or he'll simply lose cause he didn't perform something that's actually documented. In most cases, conducting maneuvers that aren't existent as an option in the first place under either offense/defense - are to be regarded as illegal.
I don't care which of these two win. I'm just simply a fan of following EVERY rule, and going by the book. No twisting, and no cheap turns, just a straight line. I'd place vote in Dr.Stein's favor, since the only thing in question here is what MG performed, rather than what Stein did. It's just better to be factual about this, rather than assumptive.

Alright alright <_<; So I didn't technically beat you in your own style Violet, just sick of everyone running their mouth about me, in particular people that don't even fight anymore. And even when they did it wouldn't matter if I used detail or not against them, the outcome would always be the same
In the end BOTH judges that started out ref'ing the match, have reviewed it and ruled it in my favor, this is nothing left to debate. They weren't there for the second part of the match but all of it is posted.
Plus the ruling of that first prep being invalid was made and agreed upon by you MG, when the ruling of 2-0 was made before the break.
And by no logic me and MG agreed at the start that it was just to cancel out having to turn around, or face the character if they were behind or to the side, and to eliminate the fact that instinctively in this style I would out of habit be unable to combo because of what my fingers will likely type by memory.
MG"s first prep was entirely invalid to begin with as he just touched himself and didn't state any reference to anything that he was doing to begin with, which you have to do. Even I do it when I prep in the most un-detailed way.
Or else people would be able to simply look at their opponent and blink, then send some surprise attack at them out of nowhere which made no sense. But yeah, this wasn't in the entirety of the rule-set at all, plus he left for thirty minutes, came back and just said that we were out of range nothing more.
So that's when I ranged him, first voiding. Then ranged again validly and won the match. - There is not a thing in the rules on this site as something to validate disappearing, especially with only one valid prep.
MG has been unable to provide documentation that what he did is legal by any means. So there really shouldn't even be a debate about it, I had a feeling this would happen to begin with though <_<; Like I said, when you get around to reading all of this MG, i'm still very much open to discuss what you wanted to continue discussing the other night.
But not if stuff like this is going to happen. xD

I know this topic doesn't pertain to this particular thread, but I wanted to ask it anyway. Also, I'm drugged, so if I type horrendously terrible I'm sorry.
OK. QUESTION. Can I give my title to someone, if at all possible? Or does somebody have to beat me to get it?

ALSO I SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO WHATEVER THE FUCK I WANT WITH MY TITLE, RIGHT? CAN I COLOR IT AND TURN IT INTO SOMETHING GIRLY? IT'S GOING TO HAVE PINK, AND UNICORNS, AND RAINBOWS ALL OVER IT. AND SOME OLD GUMMYBEARS ATTACHED TO THE INSIDE OF THE FABRIC. AND YES, I DID VIOLATE IT BY SNIPPING THE FABRIC, SO THE FUCK WHAT?

This dude is so emotional. He reminds me of my bitch. I didn't break your spine with one prep, I did it with three. You were never in range since I disappeared. If you prep something three times and land the prepped attack it counts as three hits. That would make it 5-0, read the rules. The whole air thing is garbage. As long as I have three preps I can paralyze you. I could've said a tree branch fell off a tree and paralyzed you. That doesn't matter. You were never in range Cloud, goodness gracious. This is like talking to a wall. I brought up the discussion with LRW because that's where the word "disappear" is mentioned. I thought that it's obvious that disappearing is a form of magic. I'm sorry that you don't know T2. You did not beat me using "basic t2" rules. In that case we wouldn't be having this discussion now. Disappearing exists in T2, I'm not making this up. Cats were disappearing in T2 back in 2000 when I first started, way before I wrote the rules on this site. It seems like the rules you -thought- we set was no magic, no extra shit, no creativity, no logic, no reasoning, just a typing contest. Lol. That's not a fight man. I haven't made a career out of "bull shit" wins. I've beaten you twice prior to this fight, Cloud, on top of me being washed up and slow. Come down off your high horse. No one needs or wants to make up a win over some club fighter. Damn, you got me talkin shit over the net. I did locate it in the rules. Just because it's not in there "specifically" doesn't mean it isn't implied. What kind of logic is that? Have you read the constitution? It's written vaguely so it can be applied to a broad range of situations. They even have something called “implied powers”. Nobody has time to sit and write out each individual situation. Same with the Bible. Same with a lot of rule sets. I disagree with you Prettz, I don't think Cloud raises any valid points. The rules don't reference 'barriers' but they reference 'magic', which disappearing coincides with. I think that the fact that I said it in a response to LRW years before today makes it valid enough for this fight. It's not like I just went up there and made the post once we got into this disagreement. The preps don't have to state what's being prepped, Cloud. They do usually but they don't have to. You have to think outside of the box. For instance, if I'm prepping to punch your head off, and I prep my fist twice, would that not be telegraphing? Wouldn't you have enough sense to just pretype a dodge/block, thus wasting the preps? Alright then. I don’t see how it matters if I focused on offense or defense when I clearly stated that magic requires 2 preps and disappearing is a form of magic. What’s the big deal? I didn’t say that you could range twice and the guy would have to come in range twice in order to get to you, but I did that in the fight as well. I also didn’t say that there’s a 3 typo limit, but we know there is. Quit grasping for straws. Disappearing is completely legal, I don’t have to cheat to win. Everything isn’t going to be expressly outlined. As long as I had the two preps I’m legal. Spot on. Usually, to become the champion you have to beat the champion. I’m not sure why you’d want to give the title to someone.

Well have fun winning on false pre-tenses then, you accepted that the first prep was invalid when it was ruled by the judges before we continued past 2-0
Both judges ruled in my favor, and you take it upon yourself to pretend you won. Nothing left to say. You lost the match, everyone knows it, everyone I talked to has seen it and agreed.
Done here.

Plus, I guess you have to call the entire fight false then. You have nobody to validate your win. Both initial refs have ruled against you, I've ruled against you.
You said yourself that "We decided it was 2-0 at this point" - But you forget to add, that it was also decided you weren't invisible at this point by the judge. Which you agreed on, you had wanted it to be 3-0.
Now once you agree on something and the match continues, you can't just post logs of it later and pretend it happened anyway. If you would have in fact been invisible, it would have taken no effort to locate you and beat the hell out of you. So like I said
"A career built on false information" You going to give yourself another self-validated win with no evidence in your favor when both judges, about 10+ onlookers, and your opponent all disagree.
