I would put Lance over Shane Walker. He's more well rounded. The only style that Shane Walker was ever good in was T2 -- and even then he wasn't that good. If I can come back from 4 - 0 to beat him 5 - 4 when I had just come back from fighting he's not that great.
Lance is definitely better in my opinion.

Just an update:
I, Rivera, beat the religion out of Lance so many times it's not even funny. Even in his greatest days he was an ally of mine and answered to me.
Specter has never beaten me in any way, shape or form. The only reason I'm posting is because Specter seems to think that he's impressive when even in my worst days I could beat Specter in speed.
We have never fought in T1, and we probably never will because this stuff is old. Even if it is where I pretty much grew up.
-Rivera
P.S. - I am NOT Vatican Knight Lance, I have no idea who that is. Just an FYI.

You only beat me when I was weak. When I got to be one of the best, you guys never challenged me again after that.
I am up for a challenge now though. ;D

lance is bad in every long style, but then again so was shane walker. seems more like they would be on par with each other to me.

Well, I beat Tala and Lysander in a few higher styles, and managed to hit MG in MT2, but I validated it as I did not.
At the moment I do not believe I am that bad at long styles, since all of my scores in longer styles are higher from win to loses.
Except most of my defeats are from higher styles, I need to work on that.
But Shane Walker was better than me at the time he was around, he was better then a LOT of people.
But I think me and him would be a very good match, even Mikado thought that me and him would have been on par with each other. ( Me and him used to play Xbox Live Halo 2 all the time together ) and used to boast of my improvements a lot.
He hated when I got a shotgun on Halo2.. xD Since I always had my sensitivity on ten. Could 'Sweet scope' pretty well on Halo 2 too.
God I fucking rant too much. xD

I don't think Lance is better than Amicus yet let alone Shane Walker. Shane Walker's optimal speed in T2 still dwarfs the speed Lance possesses in T2 to this day. Shane's speed use to rival mines when I was still fast. Almost beating me in my washed up state fails in comparison to nearly beating me when I was nearing my peak.
Shane and Lance are both best in T2 but you have to understand that Shane was good in the longer styles as well, maybe a tad bit better than Lance. He just didn't like fighting in them. There are other people between Lance and Shane that Lance should be worrying about surprassing. Like Amicus for starts.

Well, me and Amicus are pretty much even when it comes to Longer Styles. When I am not cheap that is.
There is a huge difference in detail, and that is usually when I am fighting Amicus, when I am detailed, if I pushed down my word usage, then I would be faster than her, and probably be able to hit MG a little more.

And I don't think I have ever hit a prime yet, I mean like, my top speed, all the time.
During my training with Justin Gunshin, I was hitting 1.5-2.5's almost every other two posts.
This was amazing, but I over trained my hands, and it fell apart.
Now I am trying to get back up to that speed. but I know I will, I cannot sit here and not GO for the 2010 Titles.

Agh, and ANOTHER thing. I would have outranked Flik at his best even know. And there was no 'well rounded' fighter out there. Flik was never undefeated, he lost matches to Dragon Master Alex a few times, but no one would know that.
Warlock was unable to fight Flik for some reason, suspicious aye'?
So I would have beaten Flik today too. And probably DMX.
If you knew the rules back then, there was no ranging too. Ranges came later, and combos, and counters.

And he's right about the ranges and other stuff too. Original T2 never had that extra stuff in it. It got added in and became a totally different version of T2.
